Accanto Nabs Service Assurance Deal in Europe
Accanto Systems has announced that a partnership with distributor Phoenix Datacom resulted in the win of a contract with a global service provider for their European subsidiaries serving business customers. This particular agreement centers on the NeTracker/Pantera protocol analyzers, which are as well a part of Accanto’s CSA solution.
The deal was initiated in the U.K. with Phoenix Datacom, and will be covering more than one dozen European locations. Competition included JDSU, which was initially a front-runner for the win, Accanto/Phoenix say the strength and perseverance of their sales team, as well as strong performance in trials, eventually led to the Accanto win.
“One of the responsibilities of being the industry leader in CSA is to provide our customers with equipment that is reliable and accurate, with unprecedented drill-down capability,” said Michele Campriani, CEO of Accanto Systems. “It’s this kind of attention to quality and assurance that puts us ahead of the pack and enables us to attract certain customers, because we can better meet their network monitoring and troubleshooting needs."
Accanto and Phoenix Datacom will provide 30 NeTracker/Pantera Protocol Analyzers to the company over an 18-month period. Accanto flexible and scalable architecture will allow the NeTracker/Pantera to be used as probes of the full Customer Service Assurance solution.
