B/OSS LinkedIn Group Adds 500 Members in 4 Months

08/10/2010

The Billing & OSS World group on LinkedIn, a social networking group formed in January 2009 by the B/OSS Conference & Expo, has added an additional 500 members in just four months, hitting a record 2,500 members!

An online extension of the B/OSS Conference & Expo, the Billing & OSS World LinkedIn group has members from more than 30 countries participating in discussions and networking with peers around the world. The group’s charter is to provide an ongoing forum for sharing real-world experiences and general networking. It also is a forum for news and information in the increasingly vital world of BSS and OSS.

The B/OSS Conference & Expo is the annual meeting where LinkedIn members and the BSS/OSS community at large meet face-to-face to both teach and learn about the possibilities and challenges of their domain. B/OSS supports the competitive goals of service providers across all tiers and technologies with a singular focus on the business and operations support system innovations they need to lead the communications industry.

“Interacting with peers in the BSS and OSS space is an essential and year-round activity for telecom software and IT professionals,” said Larry Lannon, group publisher for B/OSS and the Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo. “This LinkedIn group is an important extension to our B/OSS community and annual conference and a great place to network all on its own.”

The B/OSS 2011 Conference & Expo will be held June 15-17, 2011, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
