B/OSS Live! Call for Speakers Now Open
The call for speakers is now open for the BOSS Live! Conference and Businessplex in Washington, D.C., June 15-17, 2011. Add your voice and expertise to the dialogue or share your hands-on experience with your peers and potential customers.
For the best chance of being selected as an expert speaker at BOSS Live! , please consider the following guidelines. We look for relevance, timeliness, applicability, urgency, magnitude, credentials and charisma. And we want ideas for the following broad categories:
Billing Revisited – Billing operations has leapt into new dimensions of time and place as real-time demands and convergence have created a leading strategic role for the one-time accounting system. As the new enabler of differentiation, the billing system must execute policy-driven tasks for multiple lines of business. This track will highlight why service providers who haven’t already done so need to revisit their notion of billing operations and will provide examples of how billing, charging and payment innovations can lead the way to competitiveness and profitability.
Subscribers in Control – It’s a new dawn in the life of the empowered customer. Armed with real-time service options, budgetary and family controls and smart devices, the customer will be significantly more engaged. This track will explore how service providers can provide the personalization, bundling and pricing options and customer experience that will keep those customers engaged with them. Sessions topics will include policy management, customer experience management, customer data management, self care, mobile advertising and analytics.
Revenue – Over the last decade, there has been a consistent drumbeat on one particular topic: cost management. However, there are many approaches to cost management, including the complimentary approach to revenue generation. They work together from their respective end to make your margins all they can be. This track will continue the journey toward maximum accuracy and efficiency, multi-dimensional accountability and assurance by digging into revenue management, cost management, fraud and routing management.
Innovation Station – Some of the most significant innovation in the back office is not in the applications but in the platforms that deliver them. This session will examine trends in SaaS, Cloud Services, Managed Services and Service Creation and Delivery. It may even look outside telecom where technology and application partners are presenting new opportunities for collaboration.
Case studies supported by service providers are preferred. Please include the names and contact information for all speakers being proposed. Please submit your proposal by Nov. 12, 2010. Although our deadline for show-related proposals is November 12, we will be accepting story ideas year ‘round, so keep those ideas coming!
